Why Choose Boston Psychiatry Center?

Boston Psychiatry Center stands apart from other psychiatric practices.

We Take the Time to Get to Know You

Our patients are always surprised at the time we invest in their care. We intentionally have more frequent appointments and spend the time needed to get things right. We believe in holistic care and don't rush our decisions.

Harvard & Mass General Brigham-Trained Clinicians

General Hospital and McLean Hospital, bringing world-class expertise to your care. We maintain affiliations with academic centers to ensure evidence-based care. We are a physician-led practice and bring world-class expertise to your care.

Insurance-Friendly Practice

Unlike many private practices, we proudly accept insurance and are in-network with Harvard Pilgrim and Aetna. If we are out-of-network with your insurance, we process your claim directly so you only pay the amount you owe.

Therapy Infused Into Every Visit

We believe therapeutic rapport is the bedrock of good care. Our sessions are intentionally longer than you will find at other clinics, to give us the opportunity to get to know you deeply and provide you individualized care.

Outcomes-Focused Care

We track your progress using validated measures, ensuring treatment actually works. You and your clinician will work together to ensure you are making progress.

Your First Visit

Initial evaluations are 60 minutes and conducted in-person at our office or via secure telehealth. Your clinician will conduct a comprehensive assessment covering your current concerns, symptoms, personal and family history, past treatments, and goals for care.

Ongoing Treatment

After your evaluation (which can span several sessions), we'll recommend a personalized treatment plan. Ongoing care may include:

  • Medication management for psychiatric medication monitoring and adjustments

  • Combined care where your clinician provides both medication management and therapy
